How to Display
#1
Back in the 1980's I won a Silver at an Australian Exhibition with a display of Austrian Empire, the exhibit range from 1850 through to 1890 and consisted of mostly FU sets and some varieties. Because of work commitments other hobbies I didn't resume stamp collecting until 2015 when I further pursued building my Specialised collection. As I gathered material I became interested in the Cancellations and decided to make them shared focus in my display and I further replaced the FU with cancelled stamps where available . I have attached 2 pages of my 1863 collection as a sample.
Do you like this approach?

I think it depends on who will see this display. If it is for yourself, then it is fine. If it is to show other philatelists, then there may be too much detail. For example, they will not be interested in the Müller numbers. I wish my handwriting was as neat as yours.

Hi Karel,
I think your second attachment is fine. The first attachment is also fine if it is just for your own amusement. But if you are going to display it publicly then I think you need to decide if it is an 1863 part of a display of the Austrian stamp issues or a display of postmarks. If it is the former, then it doesn't need all the different postmarks. If it is the latter, then I think the postmarks are better arranged by town within provinces. Just an opinion.
